The Role
ECA is currently looking for an Admissions & Student Services Officer to join its great team at ECA Professional Year (www.professionalyear.info ). Part of the ECA Group, the ECA PY Programs is a one-year employability finishing school that prepares student graduates in ICT and computing degree and masters courses for a professional career in Australia. In 16 years, we have enrolled and graduated 18,000 students from our Program.
Reporting to the General Manager – ECA PY, the Admissions & Student Services Officer will be a key member of the Admissions & Student Services Team in ECA Group’s Professional Year Program. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students and applicants over the phone, email, and face to face, addressing student requests in a timely and professional manner, and liaising with agents to complete enrolments.
You will also be responsible for providing efficient and effective admissions and Student Services within ECA Professional Year and will interface across a range of departments, (Admissions, Student Services, Academic, Internships Teams) to ensure a seamless student experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing outstanding Student Services and admissions support to ECA PY applicants and students
- Converting and processing applications to enrolments through issuing conditional and final offers
- Resolving and responding to student’s requests and feedback
- Developing and refining the Continuous Improvement Register
- Managing orientation and registration for intakes and assisting in Graduation arrangements
- Data entry and updating of student’s profiles and details in RTO Manager
- Managing issuance of qualifications to ECA PY graduates
- Assist with students’ outstanding fees.
- Monitor, analyse and report on Student Attendance records.
- Issue low attendance warnings to students and managing low attendance and academic appeals.
- Finalise report for cancellation of students who have breached their study conditions.
- Preparing reports as required and status update of students on RTOm.
- Liaising with staff to ensure efficient management of student enquiries and deadlines are met.
- Accurately recording, filing, and distributing all student related inward and outward correspondence including email and internal correspondence
- Assisting with other administrative duties as required and any other duties designated by the General Manager.
Essential Criteria includes:
- 2 years prior experience working within an admissions or Student Services department (in an educational environment)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
- Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Student Management System (RTOM preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and follow through on tasks.
- Must have a great team attitude.
