About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Student Services Officer to join our Sydney campus. This role is critical in providing friendly, informative, and quality customer service to our students and stakeholders as well as supporting the overall delivery and management of our programs.
As a key member of the Student Services officer team, this person is the first point of call for all queries and is a focal point of the company's customer care and retention program.
This role is responsible for:
- Responding to enquiries (in person, by phone, email etc.), sourcing information, following up and providing responses in a timely manner
- Being the primary point of contact for Students on issues including, but not limited to general course queries, class times, unit enrolment, timetabling, and payments.
- Assisting with all administrative duties associated with student lifecycle, including orientation, enrolment, course progress and graduation.
- Monitor and update student records on relevant databases, including student contact information, attendance and results
- Issuing student cards, letters & official documentation
- Liaising with other SSO’s & Managers at our Sydney and other campuses
- Assisting in marketing activities and special events if required
- Participating in the overall continuous improvement of the department
Please note that this role will commence on 10th April 2024
About you
For this role, the candidate will have strong communication skills and attention to detail. The ability to multitask along with using the Microsoft Office suite and other standard software is of course crucial to the success of any administration role. Professional presentation skills are a must, given the exciting work environment, you will be joining. Your strong organizational, planning and interpersonal skills will be greatly appreciated in our organization.
