The Student Services Officer plays a vital role in supporting Student Services operations by providing assistance to students across various stages of the student life-cycle. This position involves addressing student inquiries and concerns, delivering exceptional customer service through multiple communication channels, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Student Support:
- Provide exemplary customer service to all UBSS students through face-to-face interactions, email correspondence, live chat, and telephone communication.
- Assist students with credit transfer inquiries, refund requests, release letters, deferments, leaves of absence, and course extensions, facilitating the necessary documentation and processes.
- Provide support to students regarding payment-related queries, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in Student Services or related administrative roles preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and empathize with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in using computer software and applications, including MS Office suite and student management systems.
