Student Services Officer/Receptionist

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Student Services Officer/Receptionist to join our Administration Team at the Islamic College of Brisbane.  You will be part of a dynamic administration team, providing a wide range of administrative and reception support for the College.  This is a term-time position, Monday to Friday - hours are 8am to 4:30pm.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring students, parents, visitors, and staff to the Administration Office are greeted and assisted in a professional and timely manner.
• Efficient and accurate data entry of student information on the School database.
• Coordinating of College reception.
• Liaising with the administration team and teaching staff regarding student information as required.
• General office support for the College as directed.
• Other reasonable duties as directed by the Manager.

You will be a people person and problem solver with high attention to detail.  

Selection Criteria

• Have a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Demonstrated skills in customer service.
• Experience in using TASS systems, or similar systems.
• Have experience in a school environment (essential).
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Have a genuine care for students and customers.
• Be fully supportive of the Islamic ethos, values and practices of the College.
