Position Title: Student Support Officer

As part of our client's commitment to student success, we are seeking a dynamic Student Support Officer to join their Operations Department. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient administrative operations and fostering a welcoming environment for their diverse student body.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Operations Department, including managing student and staff administrative needs with efficiency and professionalism.
- Serve as the first point of contact for students, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in alignment with their student-centered approach.
- Address student requests and inquiries promptly and courteously, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Conduct timely follow-ups and liaise with students to resolve any academic or administrative issues they may encounter.
- Maintain accurate student records in accordance with established guidelines and utilize the student management system effectively.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating college orientation sessions to ensure students have a smooth transition into their academic journey.
- Collaborate with the Academic Team as directed, providing administrative support to enhance academic operations.
- Adhere to the College's policies and procedures at all times, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration by liaising with other departments within the organization and external agents as necessary.
- Undertake additional general duties as directed by the Operations Manager to support the overall functioning of the department.
- Minimum of a Diploma level qualification in Business or a relevant field, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with competent computing skills.
- Strong time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all administrative activities.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to evolving situations.
- Capacity to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and understanding.
- Previous experience in the education industry would be advantageous, although not essential.
