About the role:
The Student Systems Technical Lead will be at the forefront of aligning our strategies and operational goals with your expertise guiding ACU in prioritising projects and BAU initiatives that will generate tangible business value and contribute to ACU's strategic intent. The role is hands on with a technical lens where you will advise on technical solutions, lead a BAU team, provide mentoring and upskilling. You will also provide oversight and technical capability across ACU Student Systems and will guide IT and business stakeholders to deliver outcomes, identify potential opportunities including performance, security and overall optimisation of ACU platforms, and lead and advise incidents and change.
To be successful in the role, your skills and experience will include:

• Post graduate qualifications and cloud certified
• Experience leading development teams and/or IT BAU projects
• Mentor developers, promote best practices and fostering a culture of innovation
• Extensive experience in software development
• Experience of DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Total remuneration valued to $151,211 - $161,352 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $127,838 - $136,506 (pro rata) pa (HEW 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
• Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
