The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Submissions Coordinator to join our Fortitude Valley studio in a permanent part-time or full-time position. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the management and marketing teams, reporting to the Operations Director.
The Submissions Coordinator is an integral part of the marketing & submissions team and is responsible for producing winning submissions and presentations across the studios. The role requires the ability to work with the Studio, Sector and Project Leads to deliver on a deadline-driven workload of submissions. The Submissions Coordinator actively participates within the operations team, contributing to a collaborative and proactive environment.
Key Activities:
- Prepare and edit submission materials from start to finish. This includes reviewing brief requirements for the bid team, managing inputs from the bid team, understanding the requirements of the client and interpreting our key messages through language style and presentation.
- Engaging key stakeholders in forward planning for bids and other collateral needs
- Preparation of business development and branding materials in relation to submissions
- Participate and contribute to pursuit strategies and client engagement strategies
- Collaborate with the Creative Director - Graphic Design and Marketing team to ensure strategic messaging is accurate, up to date and on brand
- Document layout, information hierarchy interpretation, and proofing with an eye for detail
About You
- 2+ years' industry experience, ideally in a submissions role within the architectural, construction or engineering industries
- Degree qualified - Communications, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent
- Prior experience in producing high quality submissions
- Excellent verbal, graphic and written communication skills
- Ability to write copy, prepare initial content and review content of submissions
- Demonstrated ability of visual communication skills and graphic design concept development
- Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)
- Strong word processing competency and sound ability in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Brand awareness / corporate identity implementation, style guides applications and template development and management
- Must be able to work under pressure and manage simultaneous deadlines
