Manager Suites and Boxes – Marvel Stadium
We are now seeking the next hospitality superstar to lead a team within our corporate suites and boxes are at Melbourne’s own Marvel Stadium.
Delaware North is a global hospitality and entertainment company with significant operations in Australia for more than 30 years. Working at the very versatile Marvel Stadium you will be exposed to several Australian Football League (AFL) games, as well as cricket matches, concerts, other special events and non-event-day functions. As the Manager in this space you will support our team deliver exceptional service levels that meet and exceed both our client and customer expectations.
About the role:
- Overseeing a large casual workforce
- Complaint resolution – ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
- Maintain a strong culture and positive work environment within the suites
- Providing employee feedback to the staffing team to assist in rostering
- Involvement with interviewing, onboarding and training of new team members
- Coordinate and manage corporate suite services during various events, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences
- Encourage and contribute to innovative ideas for improving the overall guest experience in the corporate suites
- Work closely with other departments such as catering, facilities, and event management to ensure the overall success of corporate suite operations
- Implement and maintain high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and presentation in the corporate suites
- Foster positive relationships with corporate suite clients, addressing their specific needs and ensuring satisfaction with the services provided
The following skills will be highly regarded:
- Experience in a leadership position overseeing a diverse F&B frontline team
- A commitment to service excellence
- Experience gained through premium service and high-end environment or experience within a large, fast paced environment
- Demonstrated experience as a leader where you can remedy performance issues and ensure support and high levels of staff engagement
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High level organisation and time management skills
- The ability to think on your feet and forward plan
- Availability to work across 7 days when required – including some public holidays
