This role reports to the Manager Services within the Engineering & Non Process Infrastructure Services team.In this role you will provide:

• regional strategic travel planning, scheduling, and demand v capacity management.
• shutdown and project mobilisation travel scheduling and end to end travel management.
• accommodation and transport bookings and service optimisation.
• travel disruption recovery.
• regional customer engagement across all areas of workforce, community, and contract business partners.

You will work in a fast paced, customer centric and data analysis environment, requiring high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Through your collaboration across all site departments, you will provide expertise in People Logistics and apply a continuous improvement mindset which ultimately will optimise accommodation and transport services within approved budgets for Copper SA.You will have a passion for customer service, knowledge of travel booking systems and processes, and a proven track record of providing People Logistics solutions.This is an Adelaide based position operating on a 5/2 roster arrangement with regular site travel required.In this role you will:

• Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
• Adhere to and demonstrate BHP Charter Values, operating discipline and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Develop the roadmap to modernise the travel booking arrangements, systems and processes for all BHP sites and services in South Australia
• Provide leadership for a team of high performing People Logistics specialists.
• Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve service standards, productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure all safe work systems, procedures and standards are adhered to through frequent inspection of the workplace.
• Establishment of strong working relationships with the accommodation, transport, projects and shut down operations team members.

About You

• Proven leadership experience within Operational or People Logistics settings across complex organisations.
• Ability to influence and mentor others in health and safety principles and behaviours.
• Experience working with travel booking systems (e.g. SAMS / Inflight) and dashboards and add-ons and the suite of Microsoft programs.
• Highly developed change management skills and culture building capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentations skills and the ability to engage across a range of levels.
• Analytical problem solver who demonstrates business acumen, with the ability to focus and prioritise critical deliverables to provide timely insights to stakeholders though the use of quality data analytics.
• Effective and highly influential diverse customer engagement including an ability to constructively challenge ideas and build trusted relationships.
• The ability to work well as a part of a team.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure, and execute Business Continuity Plans.
