This role reports to the Manager Services within the Engineering & Non Process Infrastructure Services team.In this role you will provide:
- regional strategic travel planning, scheduling, and demand v capacity management.
- shutdown and project mobilisation travel scheduling and end to end travel management.
- accommodation and transport bookings and service optimisation.
- travel disruption recovery.
- regional customer engagement across all areas of workforce, community, and contract business partners.
- Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
- Adhere to and demonstrate BHP Charter Values, operating discipline and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Develop the roadmap to modernise the travel booking arrangements, systems and processes for all BHP sites and services in South Australia
- Provide leadership for a team of high performing People Logistics specialists.
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve service standards, productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure all safe work systems, procedures and standards are adhered to through frequent inspection of the workplace.
- Establishment of strong working relationships with the accommodation, transport, projects and shut down operations team members.
- Proven leadership experience within Operational or People Logistics settings across complex organisations.
- Ability to influence and mentor others in health and safety principles and behaviours.
- Experience working with travel booking systems (e.g. SAMS / Inflight) and dashboards and add-ons and the suite of Microsoft programs.
- Highly developed change management skills and culture building capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentations skills and the ability to engage across a range of levels.
- Analytical problem solver who demonstrates business acumen, with the ability to focus and prioritise critical deliverables to provide timely insights to stakeholders though the use of quality data analytics.
- Effective and highly influential diverse customer engagement including an ability to constructively challenge ideas and build trusted relationships.
