Traffic Management People are seeking an experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to join our team.
Traffic Management People is highly regarded within the Traffic Management sector, supplying Traffic Control throughout Queensland. Traffic Management People is part of the ASX listed company AVADA Group, AVADA Group is an established traffic management operator with companies throughout Australia and New Zealand.
As a Supervisor, you will be working within our operations department in a team environment where delivery is time-critical and attention to detail paramount. This role provides an excellent opportunity to use your outstanding administration and organisational skills, as well as to contribute to the delivery of excellence throughout our organisation. You will be involved in providing general administration and scheduling support over a range of activities within the department.
Working in this fast-paced, client-driven environment, the successful applicant will be responsible for client satisfaction at the Ganger / Foreman level. The Supervisor must also understand the capabilities and size of their workforce to allow them to meet the needs of our clients, the workforce and the company.
The Traffic Control Supervisor will report directly to the General Manager, however, is required to work in a team with other Operational Staff.
This role is heavily office-based but will have travel within the designated area and surrounding regions. A work vehicle will be supplied to the successful candidate.
Skills and qualifications
- Traffic Control Licences (Traffic Management Implementation, Control Traffic with a Stop/Slow Bat & Traffic Management Implementation).
- Traffic Management Design (TMD) highly desirable.
- Must have a current Drivers Licence.
- Construction Induction (White) Card.
- Working knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety as well as MUTCD Part 3 and TCASAP.
Behavioural competencies
- Sound time management skills and the ability to multitask.
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Strong communication, interaction and leadership skills with the ability to onboard TC’s, induct and motivate a team.
- Strong industry passion, initiative, flexibility and commitment.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Suite
- Delivering results and exceeding customer expectations.
This role ideally suits an energetic and motivated individual with good communication skills who is capable of supporting the company with administrative requirements. A minimum of twelve months' experience within a busy, corporate environment will be highly regarded.
