About the role
Reporting to the Spray Seal Operations Manager, the Spray Seal Supervisor will have experience in the supervision of plant, labour and subcontractors for pavement works with a proven track record in the delivery of full service and subcontract civil construction projects in accordance with specifications, financial and reporting requirements.
Duties
- Assistance with quotation and tender activities
- Project preparation and planning
- Management of resources and materials in consultation with Operations Manager
- Ensuring works are carried out in an efficient manner that meets quality requirements
- Daily and weekly reporting
- Client and stakeholder communication
- Willingness to travel and work away as required
Skills & Experience
- A demonstrated knowledge and application of WHS and environmental legislation
- 5 years’ experience as a spray seal foreman and previous experience as a spray driver is preferable, but not essential
- Knowledge of spray seal plant and materials
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Computer literacy with preferred proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project, along with standard written communication
