About the role

We are looking for a Drill Supervisor to provide leadership to a multiskilled team, actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices, and have a passion for driving and harnessing a great team culture. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to draw on your people leadership skills, coupled with your technical knowledge to effectively coordinate execution of work.
You’ll be part of a friendly team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on a Fly in, Fly out, 8 days on; 6 days off, 7 days on, 7 days off roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Drill & Blast Superintendent you will also:
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices, and processes, whilst providing leadership, development, and support to your team
- Work collaboratively with peers across multiple disciplines to deliver the mine plan, supervise and coordinate drilling activities on site
- Ensure all activities undertaken are compliant with relevant statutory regulations and business standards and policies
- Complete daily inspections of all work areas, and regular field interactions with the team to develop a safe and effective work culture
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset
- Have leadership experience and be confident in leading, developing and coaching team
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- WA WHS Statutory Supervisor Certification
- Ability to achieve outcomes through influence and collaboration with others
- Hold a current "C Class" WA Manual Driver’s License

Where you’ll be working
Located 60km north-west of Tom Price, Brockman is wholly owned and operated by Rio Tinto. Opened in 2010, this open pit operation offers a family friendly fly in fly out roster with state-of-the-art camp facilities.
The Greater Nammuldi Operations consist of Brockman 2, Nammuldi and Silvergrass. Driving the latest technological advancements, the open-pit mines offer an avenue for opportunity and career progression.
