This role is employed with Cameron logistics Pty Ltd as wholly owned by DHL Supply chain (Australia) Pty Ltd.

In this job you will:

Be responsible for the transport logistics and distribution of our customer’s retail products. The successful applicant will manage and oversee the safe day-to-day operation of the warehouse. This role is permanent, Monday – Friday

• Ensure all incidents are reported
• Ensure all elements of fleet operation are met efficiently with maximum optimisation of vehicles, drivers and equipment
• Work with the planning team and allocate runs to company drivers and subcontractors
• Support our team to carry out their role with safety, efficiency and ensure compliance to all statutory requirements including fatigue management.
• Ensure outstanding customer service standards are achieved.
• Meet all safety and operational targets in line with delivery schedules and business plans.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and in place.
• Provide a safe working environment for all team members
• Continuous commitment to process improvement in liaison with key stakeholders
• Prepare and report accurate DIFOT data

You have the following qualities & qualifications:

• • Very good communication skills. Development and effective management of company fleet
  • Previous experience in the Transport Industry in a supervisory role
  • Ability to manage / direct drivers and loaders during the shift
  • Experience with Route Allocation and an understanding of scheduling multi drops deliveries
  • Sound knowledge of South East Queensland
  • Ability to think quickly for best outcomes for the customer, those you supervise and the company.
  • Be a strong and efficient leader in safety and compliance.\
  • Capable of working through complex challenges in a high pressure environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Proven experience in consistently delivering results and continuous commitment to improvement
  • Experience in the transport industry.
  • Medium to high level skills in Microsoft Office suite.
