Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.
  
Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.

The Opportunity:
As a Supervisor, you will manage multiple crews across the SSTOM project. Must have a safety-first approach and lead and motivate your team to ensure delivery of exceptional outcomes. Must be responsible for the on-site activities of all active site teams from a Time, Safety and Quality perspective. 

Responsibilities:

• Excellent ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders like site-based maintenance and production teams 
• Take ownership of site safety management 
• Develop short and medium range construction programmes. 
• Coordinate sub-contractors, Senior Supervisor and Safety Managers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality construction work 
• Work with the Project Managers and Senior Supervisors to create a collaborative team environment to achieve positive outcomes for the project and our clients. 
• Knowledge sharing and providing coaching and mentoring to other site team members including construction workers and leading hands. 
• Work closely with our Site Engineers to pre-empt and resolve construction issues on site. 
• Maintain progress in line with the construction program.

Criteria:
The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil Infrastructure or Buildings and have delivered utilities, FRP, pits & conduits, civil infrastructure earthworks and drainage.

In addition to the above:

• 3+ years experience within the Construction industry as a Supervisor/Site Manager 
• Previous exposure to civil, building and rail projects is highly desirable
