On the back of Project growth within our Sydney Water (West) team we are looking to appoint multiple Site Supervisor’s to work on a Plumbing project.
The Role:
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the safe delivery of Plumbing projects for Sydney Water as part of Programmed’s join venture contract the “West Region Delivery Team”. You will work effectively with our existing Project teams including Project Managers, Engineers and Coordinators to deliver works efficiently, safely and to budget.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supervising minor plumbing works and repairs including but not limited to repair and replace pipes, valves, drainage & other plumbing fixtures and equipment
- Identification of additional of maintenance requirements
- Appropriate use and maintenance of hand tools
- Approach to SAFETY as being the number one non-negotiable in the delivery of projects.
- Ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s safety, quality assurance & environmental management system
- Co-ordinate field staff to work safely, efficiently and effectively as an integrated team to ensure the daily delivery of works.
- Ensure safety documentation (PTRA, SWMS) and other operational documents are completed and reviewed in accordance with site & client requirements
- Actively encourage innovation within the field teams
- Represent Programmed and the West Region Delivery Team professionally at all times with internal and external stakeholders
What you will need:
- Plumbing Contractor licence and/or qualified supervisor certificate,
- Prior experience in projects in an industrial environment would be highly desired
- Experience in front-line management of people and work teams
- Competence in the application of project management principles
- Effective communication skills, influencing ability and sound decision-making skills
- Motivation to deliver work safely
- Full clean driver’s license
