This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in insolvency and restructuring to lead projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our regional office.Key Responsibilities:
- File Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of insolvency matters, including liquidations, bankruptcies, voluntary administrations, and receiverships.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of insolvency professionals, ensuring high standards of performance and client service.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, creditors, and stakeholders, providing expert advice and support throughout the insolvency process.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all insolvency cases comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, preparing detailed reports and documentation as needed.
- Strategic Input: Contribute to the strategic direction of the Newcastle office, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement in service delivery.
- Business Development: Assist in developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships to drive the success of the regional office.
- Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in insolvency and restructuring, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
