Supply Chain Accounts Clerk

This diverse role provides financial accounting support to the Australia and Asia Finance teams. This will be the junior role within the Australia Finance team but will be exposed to a range of different areas of the business with significant room for growth and advancement in any number of areas. This is an excellent role for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the Australian mining industry. We are offering this as a part time, 0.8 position.

Want to know a little more about the role? Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Overall responsibility for APAC transporter AP invoice reconciliation, including:

• Complete data entry and provide administrational support
• Provide support and complete related accounting and administrative tasks
• Daily, weekly & monthly Supplier invoice reconciliations and coding
• Responsible for data integrity /database integrity
• Adhering to company policies and procedures
• Support internal/external audit reviews
• Assisting with continuous process improvement initiative

The role will also be involved with cost coding to departments and projects, as well as regular communication with Accounts Payable team.

A few other things we’re looking for:

• Certificate in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years' experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk
• Accurate data entry skills
• Microsoft office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong time-management skills
• Highest standards of accuracy, attention to detail and precision.
• Effective organisational skills.
• Ability to partner with local, international, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of the International and Domestic Logistics industry will be highly regarded
