Supply Chain / Administration Officer (6 to 12 Month Contract)

The company is looking for a Supply Chain / Administration Officer to work full-time to cover for parental leave for 6-12 months. The successful candidate will provide support to the team and complete various administrative tasks. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will include the following functions:
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations Manager and Supply Chain team with tasks related to Supply Chain activities, including expediting, stock control and warehouse systems coordination in line with the Company objectives.
- Assist with improving and maintaining all Expediting reports, to achieve on time delivery to the MacLean International customer base.
- Support the coordination of document control submissions to customers in alignment with delivery of goods as required.
- Act as a liaison between the Operations Manager, Supply Chain team, and other departments or external parties. Ensure that the Internal and External customers are updated for any changes to delivery programs and schedules.
- Strong focus on customer service with a high attention to detail and drive for results.
- Assist Operations with local and international freight quotations.
- Assist with collection of consignments both local and international.
- Assist the Operations Manager as required for additional Supply Chain duties.
- Ability to work in a busy cross-functional team environment with a high priority on time management and organisation.
- The ability to communicate effectively and professionally with local and international customers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint and experience of working with ERP systems would be advantageous.
This is a position for a candidate who is willing to learn and has good communication skills, along with reasonable computer understanding and the ability to quickly grasp the Company operating system. The successful candidate will receive support from our existing Supply Chain team, and all necessary training will be provided.
