Supply Chain Analyst

Position: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Sydney
Reports To: Manager, Inventory Management

A respected Australian organization is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for a 6-month contract based in Sydney. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing and directing inventory within the organization and its external partner Supply Chain network.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reconcile, analyze & transact inventory positions: Ensure accurate reporting and transactional tasks.
2. Perform Slow and Obsolete material reporting: Analyze and coordinate tasks for effective material management.
3. Drive accurate category Stock on Hand reporting: Ensure complete, accurate, and visible stock-on-hand reporting.
4. Coordinate and report across internal departments: Collaborate with various teams, submitting timely and accurate reports.
5. Drive reconciliation process improvement: Proactively work on process improvement related to reconciliation.
6. Provide support to the Inventory Management team: Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
    

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of relevant Supply Chain/Logistics experience.
• Inventory Management experience.
• Telco or relevant industry experience preferred.
• Analytical Supply Chain/logistics experience.
• Finance/Inventory Management experience with BI tools.
• Commercial negotiation/reconciliation experience.
   

Technical Skills:

• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Advanced ERP system experience (Oracle preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with analytical tools.
• High-level analytical skills.
• English language proficiency (verbal and written).
• Supply chain inventory management knowledge.
• Negotiation skills.
• Business process analysis and development.
   

Other things to note: 

Hybrid working - 3 days in the office 
Sydney location
6 month contract, possible extension
