About you
As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will primarily support the procurement activities of the department. Your tasks will also span across all activities within Supply Chain, including Stores and Logistics in accordance with the teams and company’s objectives.
This role is predominantly administration based but there will be a need to get your hands dirty for some of the support roles for stores.
Key Accountabilities
Supporting the departments activities in line with departmental procedures, including:
Procurement
- General Department administration.
- Placing purchase orders including supplier follow ups and associated administration.
- Processing warranty claims back to suppliers.
- Raising orders for our internally manufactured stock items.
- Maintaining supplier and inventory data.
Stores
- Assist with monthly stock takes.
- Processing stock receipt forms.
- General administration support including stock label maintenance.
Projects
- Supporting all departmental projects through data collection and recording.
