Key Responsibilities:
- Product Costing: Establish and update product costs, participate in new product development, and drive best practices.
- Inventory Control: Manage accurate inventory records, conduct audits, optimise inventory levels, and develop reports.
- P&L and Balance Sheet Management: Review and analyze site P&Ls and Balance Sheets, perform month-end checks, and align with the Group Financial Controller.
- Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting: Prepare cost budgets and forecasts, identify cost risks and opportunities, and manage standard costs.
- Materials Planning and Procurement: Develop materials plans, analyze demand and supply data, coordinate with suppliers, and implement process improvements.
- Month-end and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely close, complete balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze variances.
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Studying towards CA/CPA qualification
- Excellent communication, organisational, and literacy skills
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong technical and analytical abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- High standard costing skills
- Advanced skills in Excel, database (SQL), and reporting tools
- Current driver’s license
