We are currently seeking a professional Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to join our team based at Macquarie Park. Reporting to the Service & Operations Director ANZ, this role plays a pivotal role in optimising our Supply Chain process and oversees Supply Chain operations across the Australian and New Zealand businesses.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement product and spare parts forecast schedules to meet customer product requirements;
- Oversee repair and replenishment projects;
- Monitor and manage Repair Centre operations and warehouse staff;
- Track and control inventory usage, costs and turnover;
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the Supply Chain and logistics function
- Drive efficiencies and cost reduction in relation to freight and logistics management;
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure stock meets project demands and report any variances in projected forecasts and advise any necessary adjustments accordingly;
- Lead the team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed KPI’s;
- Review and regularly report activities against KPI’s.
Qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain and warehousing principles
- Solid team leadership competency
- Demonstrable experience in managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Strong quality and customer orientation
- Self-motivated
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with JDE or similar ERP system preferred.
