Due to an increase in workload, an excellent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planner/Scheduler to support dynamic operations across Bass Strait and Gippsland.
Based at our projects office in Sale, Victoria; this position will assist in ensuring our Offshore and Onshore NDT and Inspection activities are appropriately scheduled and delivered in close consultation with the project management team; with a focus on medium to long term planning.
This role will also largely support our projects team with administrative duties, working closely with both middle & senior management and ensure alignment to scheduling strategies.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the development of inspection & training plans to align with the integrated inspection strategies;
- Monitoring and schedule internal inspection maintenance systems & auditing;
- Providing planning and scheduling support to the project team in accordance with offshore and onshore procedures;
- Liaising with management, staff on/offshore, and client personnel;
- Assisting in scheduling and monitoring of inspection visits and services;
- Ensuring the project team are informed of all external communications relating to their projects;
- Carrying out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experience to this role:
- Administrative support and Project planning experience
- Oil and gas industry experience will be highly regarded, particularly knowledge of offshore asset inspection & maintenance programs;
- High proficiency in MS Project, Sharepoint, Office suite Word and Excel;
- An understanding of ISO9001, 17025 & 17020 requirements;
- Experience in a maintenance or inspection environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Adaptable regarding working hours, which can vary with operational demands.
- Experience with using SAP software
