Given the continual growth in our company, we are seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to join our team, based in our Fremantle office.

The successful candidate must be able to travel overseas on a monthly basis as part of the role.
The Role:
Your key duties will involve breaking down the scope of works, bill of quantities, preparing associated documentation and estimates, purchasing and full follow up on status of manufacturing, production and quality control.
Duties:
- Dealing with remote housing and sending kits both nationally & internationally
- Oversee Steel, windows & tent manufacture
- Actively drive production efficiency & productivity
- Managing and coordinating tenders
- Cost planning
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors nationally & internationally
- Review and develop and improve purchasing lists
- Vetting of subcontractor and supplier prices
- Prepare bill of quantities and cost plans
- Develop final estimates
- Prepare of tender forms, submissions and correspondence
- Work with architects, drafters & the sales team as required to ensure building plans are correctly documented & costed
- Create & manage project files
- Coordinate and plan production schedules to achieve set time frames
- Overseas travel one week per month to undertake QA
Candidate Requirements:
- Be energetic, highly motivated with a can do attitude!
- Candidate will ideally have a minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement & Supply Chain management
- Excellent knowledge of structural steel & building materials
- Previous experience sourcing materials, pricing and estimates
- Ability to read and understand plans
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build client rapport and manage existing relationships
- Able to work both in a team & autonomously
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail
