SUPPLY PLANNER

To succeed in this role, you should be professional, organised, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing and purchasing processes.
PURPOSE
You will be responsible for purchasing manufactured and finished goods products from suppliers for all customers. You will also be responsible for setting up new style and fabric codes in the ERP system issuing Purchase orders to suppliers, monitor factory deliveries, confirm freight bookings with our freight forwarder. Consolidate freight to maximise savings. Provide weekly WIP reports to Key stakeholders and assist the Group General Manager Operations with daily tasks.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with manufacturers local and offshore.
- Monitor supplier’s delivery performance.
- Approve and process shipping documents.
- Liaise with freight companies.
- Ensuring all products delivered to have QC records.
- Assist the Operations Manager
- Conducting all activities in accordance with the Quality Management System

- Understanding the corporate apparel market.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Understanding the manufacturing process.
- Able to work under pressure unsupervised.

OTHER
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other relevant fields.
- Previous experience of 3-5 years in a demand planner/analyst role, preferably within the apparel clothing and accessories industry.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
