Roster: Monday – Friday
The Health & Safety Systems Support Analyst shall be responsible for the administration of the Health & Safety team functions within Fortescue WAE Australia. This includes day-to-day support for the systems utilised by Fortescue WAE and Health & Safety Management System.
This role would be ideal for someone who wants to enter a career in Health and Safety and can offer career growth for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of legal obligation registers
- Coordinate health, safety and environment reporting requirements
- Coordinate and/or support Health related scopes (health exposure, drug & alcohol etc)
- Provide support for the development and maintenance of the FWAE Health and Safety Management System
- Provide training and support in the utilisation of the Health & Safety software
- Produce reports and manage Health & Safety databases
- Support departmental document development, control and management functions
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to the team
- Maintain and design the HSE SharePoint pages
- Support the team in document writing
- Manage the administration requirements of the Incident and Emergency Management system.
- Tracking and monitoring the department’s budgets and spend
- Overseeing department movements and administrative requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in the administration of Health & Safety management systems (ISO45001 & ISO9001 would be desirable)
- Experience specifically in the administration of event & action management software systems
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with at least 2 years of recent experience in the administration and co-ordination of a Health & Safety team
- Experience in the administration of health & safety legal obligation registers would be considered an advantage
- Proficiency with current Fortescue Health and Safety related systems is desirable
