NDIS Support Coordinator | Psychosocial Recovery Coach | Specialist Support Coordinator
We are seeking a Support Coordinator to join our team in South Australia, providing quality services to participants funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). If you are looking for a contract position which includes flexible working hours, working from home and higher pay rates based on billable hours, then this role might be for you! We are seeking two Support Coordinators to assist participants across all areas of Adelaide and country SA.
We are seeking applicants with experience, whether that be in employment, having a lived experience of disability or being a family member/carer.
For successful applicants with support coordination experience and an allied health degree, the role may also include specialist support coordination. For those with lived experience of poor mental health or psychosocial disability, this role may also include Psychosocial Recovery Coaching.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will be an honest and highly organised worker with excellent communication, be details oriented and a whizz at report writing. As this is a contractors role, you will be a self-starter, and able to problem solve and work independently with minimum supervision. This role is likely to suit someone already working in the sector wanting additional flexible work.
The successful applicant will provide services across metro Adelaide, with the option to outreach to country SA including the York Peninsula.

Essential criteria to be addressed in cover letter:
· Minimum 3 months experience in NDIS support coordination, NDIS Planner or LAC role, proven by excellent understanding of Support Coordinators role and NDIS sector; or an explanation of lived experience and how this relates to the role
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· Honest and transparent, and willing to access external supervision if requested
· Social work degree or final year student (preferred, not essential)
· Willing to travel to participants homes as part of service delivery
· Must have ABN and purchase professional indemnity and public liability insurances
· As this is a contractor position, you must also have your own laptop and internet access and be able to use these competently. A work phone can be provided
· Current COVID-19 vaccination
· Provision of worker clearances, e.g. SAPOL/National Police Certificate, WWCC, and NDIS worker clearance
· C class drivers licence and insured, reliable car (preferable, not essential)
Benefits:
This position is a contractor’s role and would suit someone already working in the sector wanting additional flexible work. This is a work from home position, with travel to participant homes or community spaces as required. Negotiable hourly rate depending on experience (Level 2 Support Coordination and PRC $55-65; Specialist Support Coordination $70-150). Contract is for twelve months and expected ongoing contract if successful in role.
