Support Officer
- 4 month contract
- Brisbane CBD location
As the Support Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide support to leasing team to plan and migrate to an electronic record keeping system.
- Identify key documents in existing network drives and hard copy files and ensure records are available to transfer to an electronic filing system.
- Provide advice to management and staff on best practice records management.
- Contribute to the improvement of the Records Management System and associated policies and procedures.
- Assist the leasing team to plan and deliver the supply of leased assets within the State Government’s property portfolio.
- Support the delivery of executive or sensitive leasing projects and the provision of office accommodation for the Department.
- Provide support to the updating of tenancy and financial management systems.
- Work autonomously, using initiative and self-motivation to interpret and resolve issues.
- Liaise at appropriate levels to develop networks within this department and with other departments.
- Develop networks across the Department
- Assist in additional projects as requested by the supervisor.
Technical/operational expertise:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other parts of the organisation and sector to deliver results and navigate complex and ambiguous environments, in the absence of complete information.
- Demonstrated understanding of customers and stakeholders, and how you encourage strong customer-focus while building an understanding of customer perspectives within your team.
- Competent written and oral communication skills with a track record building and maintaining productive relationships with managers and internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in information technology and electronic record keeping systems.
- Sound knowledge in corporate governance areas, such as project management.
- Ability to provide advice and make decisions that are rigorously considered and supported by a clear rationale, using analysis, experience and judgement.
