Your success in this role, will be in your ability to
- Provide education on infection control pertaining to the cleaning and maintenance of The Royal Melbourne Hospital, City, Royal Park Campuses and off sites.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and support to uphold best practices while adhering to infection control guidelines.
- Design, implement, and assess learning and development programs for staff.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing the quality of Environmental Services provisions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in understanding the Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in Healthcare.
Your Qualifications and experience
- Experience in working in infection prevention/control or as an Infection Prevention Champion
- Registered Nurse with previous Infection Control experience
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
- Familiar with the use of PC windows including Word and Excel
