The Role:
We are looking for Casual Support Workers in the Home Care space, who are passionate about a client-centered approach to care.
Our clients are located across the Tamworth region with our head office located within Bundaleer Aged Care Community, at Tamworth.
You must be dedicated to working in the community care model and be able to apply quality standards, including the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and Attendant Care Standards.
What you will do:
The Support Worker duties include:
- Personal care
- Social support
- Light Domestic duties
- Assisting clients with activities of daily life
- Support Client mobility and transport needs
- Recording client progress and feedback from client families
- Identify training and development opportunities
- Audits of Infection control procedures and inventory
- Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current NSW Drivers license + comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
