SUPPORT WORKER POSITIONS - CASUAL INTAKE MALE & FEMALE

The Position

As an experienced Support Worker, you'll provide domestic assistance, personal care, transportation, implementvhealth and wellbeing initiatives and services that support Clients' care plans.

• Casual opportunities available for Male and Female 

• Able to work and travel in and around the the Laidley and surrounding areas including into Ipswich and sometimes beyond eg like trips to GC or Sunny Coast.

• We offer above award rates including travel and all award allowances.

Our valued team of Support Workers contribute to Our Clients wellbeing and independence, helping them achieve optimal health and wellbeing outcomes.

Required skills, experience, and credentials

• Commitment to providing the best care to our clients through positive interactions

• Certificate III or higher in Community Care preferred either enrolled or willing to obtain.

• Statement of Attainment in "Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set" highly desirable

• Flexible approach to a range of working hours between 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, sometimes earlier on camps or later for fun activity nights such as bowling, restaurants, cafes & movie nights Monday to Friday with some weekends at award penalty rates.

• Current driver’s licence

• A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle

• Confidence in using your own smart phone, handheld device, email, and internet

• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtain including on the job.

• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal Check

• A Blue Card and Yellow Card or willingness to obtain
