- Casual position within the Hunter area.
- Open to experienced and new Support Workers with a min Cert III in Aged Care, Community Support or related field - Training available
- 25% casual loading + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging to maximise your take home pay
We are looking for a Support Worker to work casually across our Home Care Packages program.
Home Care Packages responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality individualised support and assist our older adult clients, supporting them to maintain and develop their independence so that they can lead enriching and fulfilling lives.
- Follow and implement individual service plans, healthcare, and positive behaviour support plans.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support and support with personal care in the client's home.
- Assisting with transportation to attend appointments.
Qualifications
If you have experience working as a Support Worker, are qualified with a Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community Support or related field, and enjoy variety in your day, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!
- Minimum Cert III Qualification in Aged Care, Community Support or related field.
- Experience working with older adults.
- The ability to follow and implement individual service plans, healthcare, and positive behaviour support plans.
- A desire to use your skills and experience creating fun and interesting activities that support older adults to engage more consistently with their community and peers.
- A valid driver’s licence.
