  • Providing education and training support to the nursing staff within the Michael Rice Centre for Haematology Oncology.
  • Coordination and leadership of projects, programs and/or research to achieve improved educational outcomes and/or service delivery.
  • Integrate contemporary evidence, personal experience, and expert clinical knowledge to inform decision-making, foster innovation, and optimise nursing practice.
  • Contribute to competency improvement and analysis, measurement and evaluation of education and professional development.
  • Plan, coordinate and provide education support for change processes, risk management practices and service improvement activities within the organisation's professional practice, education and administrative frameworks.

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post registration experience.
  • The ability to prepare and deliver high-quality presentations in various educational settings for both community and professional audiences.
  • The ability to develop, coordinate, and deliver education programs while conducting evaluations to ensure effectiveness.
  • Effective leadership skills including advanced communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • The proven ability to perform effectively under pressure, prioritize workloads, and demonstrate resilience.
