The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity exists within Division of Paediatric Medicine to join us as a
Nurse Educator in the
Michael Rice Centre for Haematology Oncology.
Role Responsibilities:- Providing education and training support to the nursing staff within the Michael Rice Centre for Haematology Oncology.
- Coordination and leadership of projects, programs and/or research to achieve improved educational outcomes and/or service delivery.
- Integrate contemporary evidence, personal experience, and expert clinical knowledge to inform decision-making, foster innovation, and optimise nursing practice.
- Contribute to competency improvement and analysis, measurement and evaluation of education and professional development.
- Plan, coordinate and provide education support for change processes, risk management practices and service improvement activities within the organisation's professional practice, education and administrative frameworks.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post registration experience.
- The ability to prepare and deliver high-quality presentations in various educational settings for both community and professional audiences.
- The ability to develop, coordinate, and deliver education programs while conducting evaluations to ensure effectiveness.
- Effective leadership skills including advanced communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
- The proven ability to perform effectively under pressure, prioritize workloads, and demonstrate resilience.
