About the Role
CareSouth is seeking Casual Therapeutic Residential Support Workers to provide individualised therapeutic support for young people in our care.
You will be a person who can uphold our values, exercises patience and resilience and exhibits a very nurturing demeanour. We are looking for individuals who place children first and are motivated to do what is best for them.
As a Therapeutic Support Worker, you will:
- Support children/young people to achieve personal goals
- Assist children/young people to build their personal resilience and navigate complex emotions and triggers
- Support connection to family & culture
- Encourage and aid participation in education & extracurricular activities to promote competence and stability in day-to-day life
- Transport and daily care as required
- Work alongside our clinical and casework team with children and young people at the forefront of all practice.
