About the RoleAs the Support Worker Supervisor, you will lead a team of Support Workers to deliver quality, person-centred outcomes and ensure a strong customer service ethos is implemented in the delivery of timely services that are in line with client expectations. You will also be responsible for providing supervision, strong leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members to facilitate a safe and collegial working environment.
Some responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive support, coaching, and guidance to the Support Workers, fostering a positive and collaborative environment that enhances the quality of care and support delivered to our clients.
- Engaging with staff to ensure they are delivering person-centred care and support in accordance with individualised care and support plans, addressing any challenges, and facilitating ongoing improvements in service delivery.
- Collaborating with the training team to identify training needs and facilitate skill development sessions to enhance the capabilities of Support Workers, promoting continuous improvement in service quality.
- Handling and resolving any client-related incidents promptly and efficiently, providing guidance to staff on appropriate protocols and reporting procedures.

You will also bring:
- Completion of relevant tertiary qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, or related field.
- Significant experience working in an Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services setting, including proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Ability to provide leadership, direction, and motivation to staff with demonstrated experience in conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to use initiative, problem solve, and be able to manage and adapt to change.
- Proven commitment to continuous improvement, development, and reflective practice.
