Disability Support Worker
Salary: $40 - $45 per hour (depending on the experience and/or qualifications)
Job description:
Casual/Part-Time
BPOcare is currently seeking a passionate Disability Support Worker who lives in Scamander or its environs to join our team and provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities. To support them in overcoming any boundaries to reach their goals by making them our No. 1 priority.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals and assist with medication administration
• Implement the participant's care plan
• Support with domestic activities and personal care
• Assist with community participation, skill development, and relationship building
• Complete incident reports, progress notes, and shift handovers as required
Qualifications and Attributes:
• Familiarity with the NDIS and commitment to its principles
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Working with Vulnerable People check (NDIS endorsed)
• Valid license OR an Australian driver's license
• Availability for morning, afternoon, with potential for more shift in the future
