Form of workHome Caring Rockhampton is an ethical and fast-growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services in Gladstone/Rockhampton/Biloela and surrounding regions.
We are seeking Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to clients and participants currently engaged in either Aged Caring or Disability for community access.
Our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.
Main responsibilities and activities may include:
- Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle and current drivers licence is essential)
- Assistance with medications
Requirements
- A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (an advantage- not a requirement)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
- Caring and compassionate
