AddressHome Caring Gold Coast North is an ethical and fast-growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services in Northern end of the Gold Coast and surrounding regions.
We are seeking Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to clients and participants currently engaged in either Aged Caring or Disability in a SIL home setting
Our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.
Main responsibilities and activities may include:
Flexibility to work AM and PM Supporting Individuals in the SIL homes.
Assist our clients with their daily routines and skills, such as - Community access, medication, personal care, domestic duties etc. Manage accurate and detailed shift reports, incident reports and progress notes. Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Requirements
- A genuine passion to work alongside participants and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (an advantage- not a requirement)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
