Bespoke Workforce Solutions is a family owned and operated company based in Brisbane. We currently assist multiple NDIS Providers in Queensland from the Gold Coast to Townsville who are look to us to provide staffing solutions within their business. We aim to provide outstanding service not only to our clients but to our employees as well. Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience in supporting and caring for participants with Down Syndrome will be highly regarded.
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability will be highly regarded.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Compassion, patience, and respect shown to clients at all times is a must.
- Current First Aid + CPR certificate.
- Yellow Card and/or Blue Card.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care, such as daily hygiene, getting dressed and assisting with any dispensation of medicines.
- Helping with household chores, such as cooking, laundry and cleaning
- Taking paricipants grocery shopping, medical appointments, sporting and social events.
- Engage with the paricipants hobbies (music & sports)
- Provide emotional support and be able to listen and empathise with the participant.
- Accurate shift notes and records kept on the client and passed onto team members as required.
