We are currently seeking applications for a Switchboard Operator / Receptionist to provide a courteous, friendly, prompt and efficient ‘front of house’ reception and telephone switchboard service to the hospital network and undertakes various associated clerical duties.
To be Successful in this Role you:
- Need to handle telephone calls and inquiries clearly and efficiently, giving clear and efficient assistance to patients, Carers, visitors and staff to achieve a high level of satisfaction from service recipients
- Will maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
- Need to maintain good knowledge of hospital departments and services
- Have to perform duties so as to achieve a high level of satisfaction from service recipients in line with the positions KPI’s
- Have to be available to work on Christmas day on a rotational basis.
Previous Switchboard and Reception experience is preferred.
Customer service role is essential.
