Your Role
Join a great team, where you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all invoices received for payment, and payments of all creditors. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate records of Accounts Payable and providing assistance to the Accounts Payable Supervisor in various accounts functions.
Your duties will include reviewing and verifying invoices, entering invoices into the Accounts Payable sub ledger, processing electronic transfers and payments, reconciling Accounts Payable transactions and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and other departments.
About You
Ideally you will hold a Certificate in Business and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable. Practical knowledge of GST and FBT legislation as it relates to the Accounts Payable function is essential. You will have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well experience with J D Edwards would be helpful.
You have a sound understanding of the principles of Accounts Payable, along with strong data entry skills.
