About you
We’re looking for a positive, proactive person who loves a challenge to join our Accounts Team.
You’ll be passionate about continuous self-development to build your skills and help the team deliver to the highest standard. Our pace is fast, so you’ll have adaptability to thrive in a rapidly developing environment.
You will be working with the business to
- Be the liaison point between Finance and IT / external system consultant (Infor, Landmark, DWS etc)
- Manage functional testing for development, enhancement and upgrade activities
- Work closely with all key stakeholders to review and design finance and retail system workflow
- Ensure the systems remain efficient and meet operational needs whilst maintaining robust internal control
- Write and maintain user documentation, policies, procedures and processes
- Provide specialist and organization-wide reporting as identified
Skills and experience required for the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience
- Advanced experience with an ERP system (Infor M3 preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to identify inefficiencies, suggest and implement innovative solutions, understanding customer needs and adapt service levels to take account of practicalities
- System administrator
- Experience with SQL/BI reporting
