This is a very unique opportunity for a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our growing team. The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our computer systems and networks, ensuring their optimal performance. This includes installing server hardware and software, monitoring connectivity, and providing technical support to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support current IT infrastructure
- Backups - run backups and test quarterly our disaster recovery process.
- Cyber Security - maintain our cyber security policy. Setup security KPI's and report on them.
- Manage Windows systems
- Upgrade, install, and configure application software and computer hardware
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support to employees
- Create and manage system permissions and user accounts
- Maintain networks and network file systems
- Monitor and optimize system performance
- Ensure the security and integrity of company data
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and security protocols
- VMWare \ Hyper V knowledge
- Fortinet experience
- Ubiquiti and Cisco switching experience
- Veeam backups experience
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- SQL experience would be advantage
