What you'll be doingThe role is responsible for ensuring that appropriate company systems and resources are in place to enable the business to meet its performance goals while providing a safe and healthy work environment and delivering on customer expectations.
- Work closely with the area of the business National Operation & Transport Manager on strategic projects and transport excellence
- Lead and influence change through the transport and warehouse function as required;
- Implement processes within business units that support a lean and efficient overall transport and operational strategy;
- Standard Operating Procedure documents: Write / Update / distribute as required to support functions
- Develop, enhance, and maintain MS Office applications, and handle both frontend and backend development procedures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and guides.
- Analyse and revise existing system logic difficulties and ensure that technical knowledge of all phases of application systems is maintained.
- Assist with the WHS and On-Road Compliance requirements for NS, ensuring hazards and risks are reviewed and addressed promptly in association with relevant company specialists.
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees and contractors
What are we looking for?- Previous experience in a Logistics setting
- 2+ years within Transport or Warehouse Management
- Strong understanding of IT processes and methods
- Company systems and process for delivering on customer expectations
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver in a time sensitive environment
- Strong Excel skills – particularly in data analysis & manipulation
