Systems Accountant - Junior

This organisation has a proud and profitable history that spans over 50 years, and has remained true to their values whilst growing into a market leader. 

Reporting into the Finance Manager of this national healthcare organisation, the junior Systems Accountant will play a key role in the system roll out, being the lead expert in charge of the data migration from the legacy system to the new system.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reconciliation, cleansing and migration of predominately General Ledger data, however may include other ERP modules 
• Daily involvement with systems administration, support and projects to ensure finance systems support and continually improve smooth and efficient GL processes.
• Answer queries and take part in troubleshooting, as well as assist in all aspects of systems admin and maintenance.
• You will also assist in the rollout of various upgrades and application enhancements including testing, development of documentation, and the provision of training to users
• Comply with internal policies and procedures

About youThe successful candidate will be degree qualified in Finance/Accounting or equivalent work experience.

Ideally have been involved in a similar capacity providing support and systems administration of finance modules. Otherwise, you are an Assistant Accountant with 1-4 years experience with a passion for systems, or may have been involved in implementation or other finance systems projects.
