The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a System Engineer in Brisbane on a QLD on a full-time 24 -month fixed term basis.
Reporting to the Energy Components Development Team Lead. Primary Objective is Provision of high-quality technical capabilities in application design, development, and testing services across APA Grid Systems. Responsible for implementing appropriate technical solution development and technical supporting BAU handover practices.
Providing day to day technical support to the ongoing delivery, design, maintenance, continuous evolution and documentation of the continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) technologies and Energy Components (EC) C deployment pipeline. Provide support and coaching to BAU and project users of the tools, processes, governance and reporting required to effectively engage with and utilise the continuous integration continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing assurance over the successful testing and deployment of EC solutions through the CI/CD pipeline.
- Supporting and balance to the environment, release and testing data demands of all teams deploying changes to EC.
- Providing day-to-day support to end users, including providing input into end user training and supporting material, to ensure end- users can make effective use of EC CI/CD pipeline to speed up and assure quality of solutions delivered.
- Maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with peers, customers and stakeholders.
Your Background
- Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD systems. Including but not limited to environment provisioning technologies.
- Experience in managing and fostering relationships with business stakeholders, service providers and external stakeholders.
- Experience supporting a CICD pipeline across an Energy Components solution
- Experience with the following technologies used in APA's CICD pipeline - TeamCity, Actifio, Sky, Apache Ant, BitBucket, GIT, LiquiBase, Maven, Nexus, Octopus, Selenium, Hub & Node, SourceTree
