IT Digital Solutions
The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring the high availability, reliability, and performance of the University’s ICT infrastructure, with a focus on AV services. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining cutting-edge technological infrastructure that meets the evolving needs of the University community.
The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience in administering and maintaining AV systems in a large-scale production environment, including advanced conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage AV projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Oversee installation teams responsible for power, data, and AV installations, coordinating their efforts to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure high availability and performance of centrally managed ICT services, particularly AV systems.
- Diagnose complex problems, perform tuning to improve performance, and support the University-wide ICT infrastructure.
- Plan and implement service continuity measures to mitigate severe faults or incidents.
- Safeguard ICT infrastructure integrity by managing access, monitoring security developments, and acting on vendor advice.
- Define and document technology implementation standards, protocols, and processes.
- Provide technical advice to management and business owners.
- Evaluate and report on technology implementations, recommending further actions as needed.
- Foster collaborative relationships across all University ICT teams.
- Enable, support, and deliver IT Operations frameworks and toolsets.
- Support the Solutions Development Framework and IT Support Framework toolsets.
- Actively engage in team culture, modelling expected behaviours and values.
