Alleo has contracted RST consulting to recruit Lead / Snr Control System Engineer for Alleo.

Position Overview:As a Lead/Snr Controls System Engineer you will play a pivotal role in engineering, commissioning, start up and operations at the client’s (ASX50) mining site. This position offers a FIFO opportunity to assist with the commissioning of the Greenfield mine project and/or to provide project support and maintenance at existing mine sites.
The primary objectives will be to develop, install, commission, test and maintain the equipment used to control the mining operations.
The FIFO roster will be discussed with the client in the interview.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
- Oversee and lead the installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of process Control Systems (PLC, SCADA, Historians)
- Strict compliance to Management of Change processes and systems.
- Conduct rigorous testing and regular maintenance of Control Systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Build Control System design and commission minor plant modifications.
- Assist with project material procurement by assessing quantities and completing purchase orders.
- Provide expert project support and maintenance services to enhance operational efficiency.
- Organise, plan, prepare, and execute plant shutdowns and start-ups as required.
- Support the organization in reporting systems and commissioning new systems as needed.
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechatronic or Control Systems Engineering or Trade qualifications in Electrical or Instrumentation discipline in equivalent industry and/or organisational experience.
- Previous experience in the heavy or mining industry is highly regarded.
- Experience in instrumentation, network/server infrastructure and hardware troubleshooting is highly regarded.
- Strong experience in PLC/SCADA/HMI/Historian programming skills (preferably experienced across the GE, Citect SCADA, AVEVA and Rockwell).
- Demonstrated experience with Field Communication protocols: EthernetIP, Modbus, Profibus & DeviceNet
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

- Valid Australian C class driver’s license.
- Drug and Alcohol Test
- National Police clearance certificate (not less than 3 months)
