Systems Engineers - V&V And Systems

Position Purpose

The Systems Engineers and V&V Engineers provide technical engineering expertise in the development and implementation of Control Centre communications and information systems.

Main Tasks

• Perform requirements analysis and engineering design
• V&V requirements, plans and implementation
• System installation, deployment, configuration and integration
• Testing and error identification during integration of software into customer environment
• Develop technical knowledge of Frequentis’ existing products and processes
• Creation of technical documentation of systems and their interfaces
• Creation of system/subsystem specification artefacts
• Acceptance of internal and external deliverables for assigned work packages

The above lists are not exhaustive, and the role may evolve to meet the overall objectives of the company.

Training

Specialist Frequentis system training will be provided for products related to the role from the Frequentis product portfolio. 

Experience and Skills

• At least 5 years of project systems experience, ideally in safety critical, control centre design, integration and verification (desirable).
• Technical education for software solutions, communication solutions, traceability processes and test engineering
• Hands-on experience with at least one of; specification, system installation, integration, and testing.
• Ability to build and work in the mission-critical safety environments

Qualifications

• A relevant University qualification in Engineering, Software, Information Technology or related discipline.
