An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Talent Acquisition Consutant to join Service Stream's Corporate and Transport division on a 6-month contract based in Melbourne, VIC
About the Role
Our People & Experience team are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to provide end-to-end recruitment and support across the Service Stream Group. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to diversify their professional experience into the civils industry, or even take that next step in their career into the big wide world of recruitment.
Nature of position: Max-Term, Full Time
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Reporting Line: General Manager - People & Culture, Transport & Corporate
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and manage end-to-end Talent Acquisition process
- Action recruitment brief with Hiring Managers to set expectations and devise recruitment strategy based on business needs and Talent Acquisition policy and procedure
- Implement & facilitate candidate sourcing methods such as redeployment, internal and external job board advertising, proactive search, network resourcing etc
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
- Interview preparation, coordination, and in some cases facilitation.
- Conduct pre-employment checks to maintain compliance. (Police, Medical, VEVO, & Reference checks.)
- Engage and assist internal stakeholders to ensure timely process and delivery of effective hiring outcomes.
About You:
- Understanding of end-to-end recruitment process
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement ability
- Organised approach to work with excellent prioritisation & time management skills
- Solutions and results focussed, with a dedicated approach to providing an awesome candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Intermediate to advanced level with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with HCM, ATS or CRM system advantageous (Workday highly desirable but can be taught)
- Comfortable working both autonomously and part of a wider team.
